Magnitude 4.3 earthquake felt in Athens

A 4.3-magnitude earthquake was felt early Sunday morning in Athens, the Institute of Geodynamics reported.

The epicenter was reported as being 6 kilometers easst of the town of Thiva, northwest of Athens, at a depth of 14.6 kilometers.

The tremor took place at 5:12am local time.

Several tremors of slightly lower magnitude occurred near the same location Thursday.
