Ukrainians in Greece to mark 2nd anniversary of Russian invasion

Ukrainians in Greece will hold a march and rally in Athens on Saturday to mark the second anniversary of Russia’s invasion and occupation of parts of their country.

A “march of resilience” will proceed from Panepistimio metro station to Syntagma Square at 5 p.m., which will be followed by a rally at Syntagma at 5.30 p.m. that will be attended by diplomats from various countries and government representatives.

On the same evening, at 7.30 p.m., an exhibition by Ukrainian artists titled “Generations” will open at Webster University Athens (9 Ipitou). The exhibition gathers works by Ukrainian artists of different ages, from children to the elderly, that were created as part of the DRAW.UA.WAR, an art initiative that will run until the war ends.
