Spot of bother

Regarding the plane-spotters, most Britons are familiar with their hobby and regard it as strange but not unduly worrying. When they stray onto British military installations they are seen as a nuisance rather than a danger. For sure, they need to learn respect for other people’s sensibilities, but I believe that after their time in custody they are probably getting to grips with this idea now. I think it is time to send them home. They are daft, not malevolent. Once they return there will hemselves, making films that travel well beyodoubtless be lucrative tabloid newspaper deals of the «My Greek Prison Hell» variety, which Greek tourism could well do without. I have just returned from my first trip to Greece, a few days in Athens. I would not wish any of my countrymen to be put off coming to your wonderful country by this affair; I look forward to returning soon. I hope our two countries can put this difference behind them
