An Orthodox monk tries to stop a masked youth from throwing a gasoline bomb at a line of riot police officers near the United States Embassy in Athens yesterday. Some 150,000 people, mainly students, demonstrated in Athens against the Iraq war. Further protests are scheduled over this weekend and next.
