European Commission denies report of Greece ultimatum
The European Commission has denied reports of a three-day deadline to Greece to assure foreign lenders it can meet the terms of the bailout deal.
Speaking to journalists in Brussels on Tuesday, Commission spokesman Simon O’Connor rebuffed a Reuters report on Tuesday as making “something out of nothing.”
A Eurogroup meeting of European finance ministers has been scheduled for Monday.
