Tuesday trolley bus stoppages ahead of 24-hour strike
Trolley bus workers have decided to stage work stoppages on Tuesday, just a day before a 24-hour strike on almost all modes of public transport.
As a result of Tuesday?s stoppage, there will be no trolleys before 7 a.m. and from 10 p.m.
All public transport workers apart from bus drivers have decided to walk off the job on Wednesday.
The protests are in opposition to ticket price rises, the transfer of employees, timetable changes and the possible privatization of some services.
