Traffic police officer charged with stealing vehicle, using forged license plates
A high-ranking Korydallos traffic police officer has been charged with theft and forgery for allegedly stealing a four-wheel drive vehicle in Nikaia, near Piraeus, after notifying the owner that the car would be confiscated if he didn’t remove it.
The 55-year-old is accused of stealing the car and using forged license plates whose numbers are the same as those on his own.
