Would-be migrant seriously hurt in truck fall

A 17-year-old illegal immigrant from Pakistan who fell off a moving truck in the northeastern port of Alexandroupoli was being treated in the intensive care unit of a local hospital for serious fractures to the hip and pelvis on Thursday while authorities launched an investigation into reports that suspected people smugglers had pushed the youth off the truck after being spotted by police.
