Four men detained for police killings
Four suspects have been taken in for questioning by police in connection with the fatal shooting of two officers in Rendi, southwestern Athens, in March.
The two policemen, members of the motorcycle-riding Dias squad, were killed while chasing suspected armed robbers. Another two were injured.
Police sources said the arrests were made following operations in four different areas of Attica.
The shooting in early March occurred after policemen chased a vehicle suspected of being involved in an armed robbery on a street kiosk.
