Hospitals to offer free skin checkups
Hospitals and private clinics across Greece will be providing free checkups from Monday through Friday next week as part of Skin Cancer Week.
The aim of the initiative is to raise public awareness about the risks of skin cancer and to stress the importance of having regular checkups.
According to the Greek Society of Dermatology and Venereology, whose members will be carrying out the tests, some 2,500 checkups are conducted every year during Skin Cancer Week in Greece.
