PAME union protests at Finance Ministry

Members of the Communist Party-affiliated PAME labor union staged a sit-in protest against austerity measures at the Finance Ministry in Athens on Friday.

Protestors forced their way into the building and draped a banner over its facade.

In a statement, PAME called on workers to ?rise up and organize their struggle so the government?s barbaric measures do not pass.?

PAME is due to hold a rally in Omonia Square on Friday afternoon.
