Indignant to protest removal of tents at City Hall

Protesters who gathered in Syntagma Square from the end of May to display their opposition to the handling of the economic crisis are to march to City Hall in Athens on Monday afternoon.

The so-called Indignant have planned a rally for 6 p.m. after authorities removed dozens of tents and banners from the square over the weekend.

Athens Mayor Giorgos Kaminis said the people camping in the square were not part of legitimate protests that had taken place in recent weeks, sometimes attracting more than 100,000 people.
