Psomiadis to be questioned tomorrow after new charge

Makis Psomiadis, the businessman and soccer club owner accused of being at the center of a match-fixing ring, will appear before a prosecutor on Monday after a further charge was issued against him.

Psomiadis had been due to answer charges on Saturday but he was informed that he would also face accusations of money laundering, prompting his appearance to be delayed.

The 55-year-old is further accused of forming a criminal gang, blackmail, fraud, fixing the results of soccer matches and bribery.
