Worksite collapse hurts five
Five laborers – two Greeks and three immigrants – sustained minor injuries on Monday when they were hit by scaffolding which collapsed on a construction site in the northern Athens suburb of Kifissia.
Members of the local fire service were dispatched to search through the rubble but found that none of the laborers employed on the site had been buried.
Two construction firm officials are being sought for questioning in connection with the incident.
