Elderly brothers drown in wine vat
Two sibling vintners drowned in a vat of grape must in Naoussa, Imathia prefecture, on Friday, police said.
According to local reports, 83-year-old Agamemnon Melitzanis fell into the vat after while stirring the grape must and his younger brother, 75-year-old Antonis Melitzanis, dived in to help him.
The brothers were found by workers on their estate, which has been producing the Xinomavro variety of wine for decades.
