Fight leaves one dead on Crete
A 25-year-old man was killed in Rethymno, Crete, Wednesday during a violent altercation with a 29-year-old who was seeing the victim?s ex-girlfriend.
The 25-year-old, who had allegedly gone to visit his former girlfriend at her home, broke down her door after she refused him entry and attacked her 29-year-old companion, shooting him once in the arm.
The two men fought, though before the police could arrive at the scene after being called by concerned neighbors, the elder of the two men had disarmed and shot the younger in the chest, killing him instantly.
