PASOK MP to resign

PASOK MP Thomas Robopoulos has announced his intention to resign.

Speaking on Radio Thessaloniki on Friday morning, the socialist deputy said that he will be handing in his resignation on Monday.

Robopoulos had threatened to vote against the government?s midterm fiscal program last June, though he eventually backed his party following talks with Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos.
