One caught, two sought by police
Dozens of policemen were taking part in an operation on Tuesday for the location of three suspects in relation to a stolen car.
The suspects failed to stop at a roadside police check in Kokkinos Milos, in western Attica, and tried to flee. One of them got into a taxi and was subsequently arrested, while his alleged accomplices forced a driver out of her car before speeding off toward the area of Metamorfosi.
According to police reports, both suspects were carrying Kalashnikov assault rifles.
By Tuesday afternoon the operation was underway in Nea Filadelphia, Metamorfosi and Kokkinos Milos.
