Men arrested for northern suburb robberies
Three Albanians, all aged between 19 and 29, were arrested on Wednesday for their alleged involvement in a series of kiosk and gas station robberies in the northern suburbs of Athens.
The suspects are being charged with 17 armed robberies, while another three alleged members of the gang are being sought by police. During one of the robberies, an Ekali kiosk employee was shot and slightly injured.
Meanwhile, seven Albanians were arrested for armed robberies and break-ins in western Attica.
