Road rage victim succumbs to injuries
An 85-year-old man who had been in critical condition in a hospital in the western city of Agrinio since New Year?s Eve, when he was viciously beaten by a local man, was on Thursday declared clinically dead.
The 26-year-old suspect being sought by police now faces charges of murder instead of attempted manslaughter, officers said.
The beating occurred following a road-rage incident on New Year?s Eve involving the suspect and the victim?s 56-year-old son.
