Detainees linked to string of other crimes
Two Greek men, aged 47 and 34, who were arrested on Tuesday after a shootout with police following an armed robbery in Vari, south of Athens, have been linked to a string of crimes including attempted manslaughter, three thefts and two burglaries, police said on Thursday.
Officers have also arrested a 33-year-old Romanian man, believed to have been an accomplice in the alleged crimes.
