Robbers net 1.25 million euros near Markopoulo

Police on Tuesday were investigating a robbery on a pharmaceutical supplier near Markopoulo, southeast of Athens, after the owner of the company reported being stripped of 1.25 million euros.

According to the owner, the intruders used a saw to break open the company?s safe and steal the sum.
