Veteran diplomat dies at age 91

Veteran Greek diplomat Stefanos Stathatos died on Tuesday. He was aged 91.

Stathatos served in Cairo and Washington and represented Greece at NATO, the United Nations and the then-European Economic Community.

He was also appointed ambassador to France, the United Kingdom and the Vatican.
