Two arrested for tax evasion
Two owners of a cement producing company in the northeastern port of Alexandroupoli were detained on Wednesday in connection with an unpaid tax bill of 122,000 euros, police said.
The two entrepreneurs, aged 36 and 43, are the latest in a series of arrests by financial police cracking down on tax evasion in a bid to raise much-needed revenue.
