Over 500 tax dodgers arretsed in seven months

Figures released on Monday revealed that from November 2011 to May 2012, the Financial Crimes Squad had compiled evidence that led to the arrest of 502 people with debts to the state exceeding a total of 922 million euros.

Of them, 446 were men and 56 were women, 495 were Greek and just seven were foreign nationals, and most — 231 — were arrested in Attica.
