Afghan kidnappers caught

Four Afghan nationals on Tuesday faced an Athens prosecutor following their arrest over the weekend in connection with the abduction and detention of a 22-year-old compatriot in an apartment on Victoria Square, near the city center.

According to police, the kidnappers tortured the 22-year-old until he gave them 1,000 euros.
