Public transport services get into election mode
Public transportation services will face some disruptions in coming days due to the June 17 general election.
On Friday and Monday, services will be less frequent on all routes except for those that serve airports, ports and intercity bus depots.
The tram will also have a reduced frequency timetable on Saturday and Sunday.
On Friday and Monday, city buses and trolley buses will operate on the reduced timetable that applies on Saturdays.
The Athens metro will extend the operating hours of lines 2 and 3 on Sunday night by one hour, with the final departures from Syntagma Square taking place at 1.20 a.m. on Monday.
The Piraeus-Kifissia electric railway (ISAP) is expected to operate more or less as normal.
