Man shot dead on Syros
A 42-year-old man was fatally wounded in a bar scuffle on the Cycladic island of Syros in the early hours of Friday.
The incident occurred when a 61-year-old man who was arguing with a fellow patron allegedly attacked the latter with flammable liquid causing him serious facial burns.
As fellow patrons tried to contain him, the 61-year-old allegedly pulled a gun and shot the venue’s co-owner. The victim died of his injuries as he was being taken to hospital.
