Troika to discuss justice issues with minister

Troika officials are due to meet with Justice Minister Antonis Roupakiotis on Wednesday to discuss the liberalization of the legal profession.

The troika representatives will also ask the minister about steps to change the law saw lawyers do not have to be present when contract signed.

Another item on the agenda will be the faster dispensation of justice. Greece has hundreds of thousands of legal cases outstanding. For tax matters alone, there are 165,000 cases pending.
