Kasidiaris probe reaches Parliament
A case file probing the alleged participation of Golden Dawn MP and spokesman Ilias Kasidiaris in a violent attack on an academic in the grounds of Athens University in 2007 is expected to reach Parliament soon.
Kasidiaris, whose scheduled trial on Monday did not take place, is appealing for his parliamentary immunity to be lifted in order to stand trial. The extreme-right deputy is challenging a decision at a separate court which prevents him from leaving the country.
