Quake measuring 5.4 Richter hits Crete
An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale shook the area near the island of Gavdos, south of Crete, at 6.20 a.m. on Wednesday, according to seismologists.
The earthquake, whose epicenter had a depth of 8 kilometers, was felt across the island of Crete. No damage or injuries were reported.
