Businessman sentenced
A Greek court on Friday sentenced Giorgos Petzetakis, chairman of the board of directors of the namesake company specializing in plastic and rubber piping, to 10 years in prison for unpaid debts to the state.
Petzetakis, who was not present in court when his sentence was announced, is expected to appeal against the decision on Monday as well as the suspension of the prison term.
