Kiosk owners join Thursday’s general strike
Greece’s kiosk owners and tobacconists announced on Tuesday that they will be participating in a 24-hour, nationwide strike called by the country’s two biggest umbrella unions, GSEE and ADEDY.
An announcement by their union also said that there will be rally at Korai Square in central Athens at noon on Thursday, with strikers then marching to Parliament to join other groups protesting austerity measures.
