No metro, ISAP on Friday

Public transport services are expected to be heavily interrupted on Friday due to a 24-hour strike announced by the Athens metro and Piraeus-to-Kifissia electric railway (ISAP).

In statement released on Thursday, the unions noted that the strike on Friday is a means of protest against the privatization of Greece’s public utilities (DEKO) and the cost-cutting measures included in the new budget.
