Ministries’ phone bill at one million euros
The mobile phone bill at Greece’s ministries comes to about 1 million euros per year, New Democracy MP Andreas Psycharis claimed Thursday. Psycharis said he contacted each of the country’s 17 ministries to obtain details about how much they pay for cellphone calls. Psycharis said that the highest bill was at the Public Order Ministry, where almost 500,000 euros was spent on nearly 1,000 mobile phone connections.
