Police detain man, 21, for online harassment
Police were on Friday questioning a 21-year-old man after electronic crimes squad officers found that he had lured a 15-year-old British girl into sending him naked photographs of herself which he allegedly threatened to post on the Internet.
Officers traced the man to his home following a complaint lodged by the family of the girl, who lives in Britain.
The electronic crimes squad has been particularly active in recent years in clamping down on attempts to trade in child pornography over the Internet and the use of social media networks and online chatrooms by sexual predators seeking to exploit minors.
