Two Turkish nationals arrested in Patra over terrorist charges

Police in Patra, in the Peloponnese, on Wednesday arrested two Turkish nationals charged by Turkish authorities for their alleged involvement in terrorist activities and other criminal acts, Kathimerini reported.

According to Greek authorities, an international warrant had been issued for the suspects’ arrest while the two men had reportedly submitted applications for asylum.

The two men were arrested at a Patra immigration office.
