Golden Dawn vows to continue ‘national awareness’ tutorials for children
Golden Dawn spokesman Ilias Kasidiaris (photo) said on Wednesday that the far-right party would continue providing lessons for children despite the negative comments that accompanied news that the neo-Nazis had held its first “national awareness” tutorial for schoolchildren over the weekend.
On its website, Golden Dawn said that more than 20 children aged 6 to 10 took part in a tutorial at the party’s offices in Artemida, eastern Attica, on Saturday.
They were taught “Greek ideals” and shown an “educational video,” the party said.
“Our decision to teach Greek mythology to young fans of Golden Dawn has provoked the reaction of the puppets in the media and government,” said Kasidiaris.
“Unfortunately for them, we will continue such events with history lessons.”
