AEK soccer club chairman bailed

AEK soccer club chairman Andreas Dimitrelos was released from custody on Friday, 24 hours after he was arrested over the team’s debts to the state.

Dimitrelos put up bail of 40,000 euros.

AEK owes a total of 170 million euros and prosecutors have ordered that all its chairmen since 2004 be probed.
