Cretan man in ICU from attack with wood clubs
A 42-year-old Cretan man was in intensive care at an Iraklio hospital on Thursday after he and a 35-year-old relative were set upon by four men wielding shepherd’s crooks in the village of Kalamaki in the municipality of Faistos.
According to the 35-year-old, who sustained relatively minor injuries in the assault, the same four assailants had killed several sheep belonging to the victim’s family two years ago.
