The schedules in Salonica

Today, the EU leaders will go through a second and third working session, interrupted by a working lunch. In the morning working session, they will discuss the draft European Constitution and decide on the timetable for the Intergovernmental Conference which will make the final decision by next year. At lunch, they will discuss EU-US relations and a report by High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana on Europe’s defense and security strategy. In the afternoon, they will gather to finalize the summit conclusions. Protesters from the Genoa 2001 and Hellenic Social Forum organizations will go to the site of the summit and attempt to break into the high-security «red zone» in order to stage a protest right outside where the leaders will gather.
