Dutch children’s entertainer to appear in Crete court over hotel stabbing
The Dutchman accused of stabbing a 12-year-old Russian boy during his vacation in Crete last week is to face a magistrate on Monday.
Cirino Schrijver, a 20-year-old who worked as a children’s entertainer at the hotel in Hersonisos where the incident took place, has allegedly admitted to stealing the boy’s laptop and mobile phone and then attacking him when was confronted about the theft.
Schrijver’s mother has arrived in Iraklio and has told local media that her son is autistic.
The 12-year-old remains in intensive care in Athens.
