Supermarket owner arrested for producing, selling counterfeit detergents, cosmetics
Police in Thessaloniki have arrested a 52-year-old supermarket owner on charges of allegedly producing, distributing and selling counterfeit products through his outlets.
The arrest came after officers discovered thousands of counterfeit laundry detergents and beauty products at two Thessaloniki warehouses the suspect allegedly owned. The 45-year-old manager of the warehouses was also arrested.
During the police operation officers confiscated 4,460 counterfeit laundry detergents and 22,000 beauty care products.
