Five arrests made in Attica over debts to state
Police in Attica have made five arrests in the past two days in connection with debts to the state.
In central Athens they arrested the 52-year-old CEO of a company that owes 217,430 euros; in Patissia a 58-year-old man with debts of nearly 106,000 euros and a 54-year-old woman for roughly the same amount; in the northern suburb of Kifissia a 44-year-old business manager over unpaid VAT of 131,380 euros and in Nea Smyrni a 39-year-old man for debts of 90,852 euros.
They are all due to face an Athens prosecutor.
