Man detained in Alexandroupoli over tax evasion

A 50-year-old man was detained in the northeastern port of Alexandroupoli on Tuesday in connection with debts to the state of 2.2 million euros, police said.

The man, identified only as a former shop owner, was to face a prosecutor later in the day.
