Special guard suspended in contraband cigarette case
A 32-year-old special guard serving in an Attica police department has been suspended on suspicion of participating in a criminal gang smuggling contraband cigarettes.
The case involves 30 suspects, out of whom 27 have been arrested in Laconia in the Peloponnese and Attica, including two coast guard officers.
