A gang of five teenagers – two aged 16, another two aged 17 and one aged 18 – are being accused of 33 apartment robberies in the suburb of Evosmos in northwestern Thessaloniki, the Athens-Macedonia News Agency reported on Tuesday.

The five suspects, who are being sought by authorities and whose case file will be submitted to a magistrate on Tuesday, are being accused of scaling apartment buildings and entering 33 homes through their balcony doors.

Police said they took money, jewelry, electronic devices, clothing and other goods that could then be sold, netting a total of 22,730 euros in cash and some 53,000 euros’ worth of loot.
