Victims of KTEL bus accident were students
The two women who died on Tuesday after a KTEL intercity bus collided with a lorry on the Athens-Thessaloniki national highway near the northern port city were students, it emerged on Wednesday.
According to reports, the two victims, aged 21 and 23, were passengers on the bus which hit the back of the lorry, which had foreign license plates.
Another 20 people were injured in the accident. Three of the injured, including the bus driver, were reported to be in serious condition.
