Cephalonia hit by 4.5 Richter quake

A quake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale shook the Ionian island of Cephalonia on Wednesday, according to the Athens Geodynamic Institute. The tremor’s epicenter was located 11 kilometers northwest of the town of Argostoli.

The Ionian island has been hit by dozens of aftershocks following a 5.8 Richter quake on January 26.
