City of Athens calls for volunteers for tree-planting campaign
The City of Athens is calling for volunteers to help plant trees in different parts of the capital on March 9 and 10.
The initiative began last year and succeeded in planting 1,050 trees in the spring and another 700 in the autumn.
Individuals interested in participating in the campaign to make Athens greener should call 210.747.0458 or 210.748.5792 to sign up.
